How to Craft a Duck Tape® Sun Hat

Learn how to craft a DIY sun hat using Duck Tape® brand duct tape in this easy craft tutorial from DIY crafter Karen Kavett. This sun hat was made using Mod Dot printed Duck Tape® Sheets and a black & white with lilac color theme, but with hundreds of colors and prints available, you can substitute these tapes with any style you choose.

Card Stock
Pen
Wire
Scissors
Crafting Board

INSTRUCTIONS
(00:35) Make a big sheet of Duck Tape for the brim of the hat.
(02:06) Trace a line around a sun hat and cut it out.
(02:29) Use the wire to measure your head for the top of the hat.
(02:39) Place the wire on your card stock, trace it, and cut it out.
(02:47) Place the smaller oval in the middle of your brim, trace it, and cut it out.
(03:15) Measure the circumference of the smaller oval.
(03:24) Make the side of the hat.
(04:21) Attach the side of the hat to the smaller oval.
(05:18) Attach the top and side of the hat to the brim.
(05:55) Make the bow and ribbon to put around the hat.
