How to Craft a Duct Tape Flower Vase

Learn how to craft a DIY flower vase using Duck Tape® brand duct tape in this easy craft tutorial from DIY and lifestyle YouTuber LaurDIY. This flower vase was made using a lace printed duct tape and a pink color theme, but with hundreds of colors and prints available, you can substitute these tapes with any style you choose.

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED
Flower Vase

INSTRUCTIONS
(00:41) Start by cutting two strips of Duck Tape that are going to be long enough to wrap around the entire vase and slightly overlap them on top of each other.
(01:06) With the jar on its side, carefully roll the strip of tape around the vase and smooth each section down as it's placed on.
(01:30) Next, take a piece of lace tape and wrap it around on top of the burlap tape in the middle of the vase.
(02:05) Then make four double-sided squares of tape by folding a piece of tape onto itself. Make sure to leave a little stickiness at the bottom of each.
(02:30) Then cut each one out into a petal shape and cut a small slit at the bottom of the petal.
(02:50) Next using the sticky part of each petal, overlap the bottom sections of the petal.
(03:21) Then place all four petals together in the middle and secure them together with a round dot of the lace tape.
(03:32) Finally to attach it to the side of the jar, make a little tape ball to pop the flower on.
