Make this fun and easy apple balloon craft on your next rainy day. It makes a great gift or conversation piece.

Step 1: Blow up balloons
Blow up and tie your balloons.

Tip
Blow up a variety of different balloons.

Step 2: Tie yarn around knot
Tie green yarn around the knots in the balloons.

Step 3: Make paper mache mix
Make a paper mache mixture by combining 1 cup flour with 1 cup water.

Step 4: Tear up newspaper
Tear the newspaper into thin strips.

Step 5: Dip
Dip the newspaper strips into the paper mache mix and then wrap the strips around the balloons.

Step 6: Dry
Tie the balloons to a hanger with yarn and let them dry.

Step 7: Paint
Paint the balloons with red tempera paint. Once dry, glue on a green leaf cut out of construction paper.
