This video shows how to crochet a thick yarned checker board baby blanket or afghan.
You will need about 5 skeins of charcoal yarn and 5 skeins of cream colored yarn for this project (I forgot to mention this in the video).
It crochets up quickly because of the nice thickness of the yarn.
I show you how to change yarn colors and how to slip stitch the panels together and crochet an edge on the afghan.
It measures approx. 30" x 40" and makes a lovely floor blanket for baby :)
