In brief

You’ll safely eliminate an underground wasp or yellow jacket nest using a simple, chemical-free method. This approach works best at night when wasps are inactive, using just soap, water, and a hose—no pesticides required. It’s ideal for those who prefer organic solutions and want to avoid stings.

Questions & answers

When is the best time to do this?

At night, when wasps are less active.

Description from the creator

How to destroy, get rid of an underground bee, wasp, yellow jacket nest using soapy water. No harmful pesticides needed - organic green method. Do it at night when the wasps aren't active. Get some dish soap, a water hose and some door screen (the door screen may not be necessary - but I don't like getting stung so I was ultra protective). Place the screen over the hole, squeeze a good squirt of soap down the hole and then shoot the water from the hose down the hole. I've used this several times and it always works.
