Distress small areas randomly. Place a small piece of folded paper "between" the fabric and block of wood. Shave over this elevation.
Patch your jeans, at a later time, for a different look.
Rip from the center of the knee to the bottom of the knee. These are the areas that are most likely to get ripped naturally✔
