How to eat Cherimoya | What does Cherimoya Fruit taste like?

In this episode of In the Kitchen with Matt, I will show you how to eat a Cherimoya fruit. What does a cherimoya fruit taste like? I will do a taste test as well. It also has a secondary name called the custard apple, because of the creamy white texture of the flesh. Although it isn't a true Custard Apple, that is another fruit belonging to the same family.

Mark Twain wrote this about the Cherimoya, "The Cherimoya is deliciousness itself" and "Cherimoya, the most delicious fruit known to men."

Where do they come from? They were believed to be native to places like Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile. They are cultivated and grown in tropical regions around the world and also in Spain.
