Having an awesome transition between your lawn and a flower or mulch bed is great for curb appeal. Plus you can get neighborhood bragging rights!!

Hi Friends, this is Jeff with Home Repair Tutor and in this quick video I'll show you how to carve out a flower bed with a half-moon edger. This tool is fantastic and only costs about $20. But you'll need a few extra tips to make this project move smoothly.

For example, most edgers aren't as sharp as they should be. So you should totally sharpen them with a file before even tackling your flower bed. And it doesn't hurt to call utility companies to ensure you won't be digging into a cable, telephone, electrical, gas, sewer, or water line.

A little prep work goes a long way!!!!
