How to Stop Your Mirror from Fogging Up -- Home Repair Tutor

Okay, this isn't rocket science. But I wanted to do to this tutorial for you if you weren't aware of Rain-Xs anti fog product.
A lot of people recommend applying shaving cream to mirrors to prevent the fogging effect. I don't know if they mean to apply the shaving cream, take a shower, then wipe the cream off to reveal a nice non-fogged mirror.
I assumed, which is dangerous, that if we apply shaving cream to the mirror and wipe it off that it will impart a protective anti fog coating. So I tried this but had no success.
Then I applied the Rain-X anti fog. We expected it to work and it did.
So if you're looking for a way to stop your mirror from fogging up in the morning this could be a good solution.
Obviously you should have an exhaust fan venting to the exterior of your home. But sometimes exhaust fans don't even help.
You could also open a window or a door. BUT if you have roommates or family members who prefer not to see you naked then this isn't an option.
You could also try to take shorter showers that aren't as hot. And this ultimately is maybe the best option.
I'll admit that fogged up mirrors shouldn't be happening in our bathrooms but sometimes there's no way to avoid it.
