Description from the creator

Wood and steel have a challenging relationship. Screws do not like to stay tight into wood, especially particle board. Here is a quick way to repair a stripped screw that actually leaves it stronger than new. I had need of this trick the other day so I thought others might find it helpful. The repair shown is in the edge of particle board which is the worst place for a screw. This trick works in many other situations including MDF and solid wood. I try to avoid particle board when practical, but if this fix works here, it will work in much stronger wood.
