Why is it important to Floss Your Teeth?

It is important to floss your teeth to help prevent gum disease.

What are the best tools to use for Flossing Your Teeth?

Floss tap because it allows you to maneuver the floss around your teeth whereas floss connected to a stick is very limited in terms of movement.

How to Floss Your Teeth

1. When we floss our teeth we need to grab a long enough piece of string and then wrap it around your fingers so you have a strong short link between them. If the floss string is too long , the floss will go everywhere and you won't have much control over it.
2. Pass the floss in between the teeth, right beneath the gum line until it stops by itself.
3. Wrap it around the front and the back of the tooth, like a C shape and pass it up and down a few times.
4. Then do this exactly the same on the adjacent side and then back out again.

How often Should I floss my teeth per day?

It is better to floss your teeth once per day properly than to floss very quickly twice a day.

Other Tips for Flossing Your Teeth

Make sure you always floss your teeth before you brush them because that allows to move any plaque sitting between the teeth. In this way, when you are brushing your teeth the fluoride and the toothpaste will more easily find its way in between your teeth.

How to Floss Your Back Teeth

To floss your back teeth, pass the floss in between the teeth and wrap (push) the floss all the way back and then pull to the front, all the way beneath the gum every time.
