Wash, dry and trim asparagus.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add asparagus. Blanch for 2 minutes.

Remove the asparagus into a bowl with ice water.

Remove cold asparagus from bowl to a paper towel lined baking sheet. Dry well.

Place in a freezer bag and seal. Freeze for up to 3 months.
