So let's talk a little bit about how to get a short cut that suits you. There are a couple of different things to consider, first of all being texture. You want to make sure that you have the right texture for the haircut that you're trying to achieve.

So, I would recommend that you be sure and talk to your stylist if you have curlier, wavy hair and you tend to wear it more natural, be sure and let them know that. So that, for example, if you're getting an A-line bob or something like that, that they can be sure and layer it properly for you.

Be honest, sometimes you go for a haircut and you can't wait to get it smooth and straightened, and then you don't speak to them about how you generally wear your hair. Be sure you let your stylist know how you wear your hair from day to day so they can best pick the cut that suits you and help you to style it properly.

Another thing to take into consideration would be the face shape that you have or the lifestyle that you have. You want to be sure and balance whatever face shape you have in the proper way, and I would definitely ask someone else what shape face you have. Most women believe that they have a round face, and most do not. So be sure that you ask somebody else because we're not always the best judge of what shape our face actually is.

Another great thing to do is if you're going to choose a short cut and you have, you know, big eyes or you have great cheekbones or beautiful lips, or a nice long neck, you can always choose a haircut that suits that feature. So sometimes that's a really fun way to choose a cut is playing up a specific feature.

Like if you have, for example, really beautiful eyes, sometimes a bang that swoops to the side almost acts like a little arrow to that portion. Same with cheekbones. If you have beautiful cheekbones and you expose them, sometimes that highlights them.

So be sure and talk with your stylist about certain features that you love, and maybe you can play up your hairstyle based upon that. But that's some good tips about how to choose a cut that suits you.
