Lanolin heals dry, irritated, chapped, cracked skin. It is a emollient rich in fatty acids and insulates the skin decreasing water loss, locking in moisture. It can be used on the body, face and hair and is a popular ingredient in a lot of beauty products. I like to use purified Lansinoh lanolin which is safe for sensitive skin. In the winter, I apply a thin layer of lanolin over my anti-aging skin care products at night. It's also great to prevent and treat chapped lips and cracked fingertips. IF YOU HAVE A CRACK JUST APPLY THE LANOLIN ALONE INTO THE CRACK AND COVER WITH A BAND-AID IF POSSIBLE UNTIL IT IS HEALED.
