1. follow this link and click regular download after the timer runs out then click regular download

2.hide the deletedesktopicons.exe application somewhere that you're not likely to delete it or see it ever again.

3. right click the deletedesktopicons.exe and pin it to the start menu.

4. go to the start menu and right click the deletedesktopicons.exe go to properties and click in the box labeled shortcut key in the shortcut tab of the properties panel then hold ctr +alt+H hit apply and ok.

5. you can now show and hide your icons with our new shortcut key ctr+alt+H
