How to Increase Screen Resolution in Low Resolution Windows Netbook, Notebooks and Laptops

So Tweakers what's up?

This is Animesh Singh from technofy.inmyplanet.com, and Today I'm gonna show you how to increase the Screen Resolution
of Windows Low Resolution Laptops, Netbooks and Notebooks.

NO SOFTWARE REQUIRES FOR THIS TWEAK.


= Here are the written Steps:

1. Type Regedit in the Run Command (Win Key + R) and press Enter.
2. Find (Ctrl Key + F) “Display1_DownScalingSupported” in “Registry Editor” Windows.

The Result for “Display1_DownScalingSupported” will be highlighted in the Result Windows.
OR
Navigate to the Following address on Registry Editor :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ControlVideo{B2875B68-A111-48C6-8260-93833727D8AD}000

and find Display1_DownScalingSupported

3. Double Click on “Display1_DownScalingSupported” Dword and change

it value from “0” to “1”.
4. After it Restart Your PC.
5. Now Right Click in any free space in your Desktop and Click on

“Screen Resolution”.
6. Now change the Screen Resolution to – “1024 x 768″ or Higher.
7. Now You will be able to Run Your Windows 8 Apps without any

Screen Resolution error. If error is Coming again then Restart Your

PC and try again.

= Some Points you may note
1. PC requires restart to make it work.
2. Make Sure you have SET the "Hexadecimal" value of

'Display1_DownScalingSupported' file from "0" to "1".
3. You can reset it to the original resolution by re-changing it's value from "1" to "0".
4. If you are unable to find "Display1_DownScalingSupported" in the Registry Editor then, either Your Devices or your Operating System is not supported for this tweak. It wouldn't work for you!
5. This tweak has Successfully Worked on Windows 8, 8.1 pro, Windows 10 Technical Preview.

= ALSO NOTE THAT:
