How to Install An Island Range Hood

In this video, we'll walk you through how to install an island range hood fan over a drop-in cooktop. This is one of the trickier kitchen appliances to install, and one that not every home owner will come across. We recommend hiring a professional if you are unfamiliar with how to install an island mount range hood.

Before purchasing your appliances and beginning the install, it's always best to measure twice and cut once. Be sure your measurements are accurate and that you will be purchasing the correct model and accessories if needed. In this demonstration, I had to order a 2 piece chimney extension as the ceiling here is 10ft. tall.
