Description from the creator

This is a video tutorial on how to install the FFmpeg for Audacity.
Often times there are errors that are received when trying to edit the audio on an M4A or an MP3 or MP4 audio file.

This video goes through the process for windows 10. I am sure the windows 7 and 8 are very similar but I cannot guarantee this.
The instructions I found on their web site were very vague and hard to follow for anyone that is not familiar with the software.
Error Example:
" " is an advanced audio coding file. You need to convert it to a supported audio formats, such as WAV or AIFF.

Audacity attempted to use FFmpeg to import an audio file, but the libraries were not found.
To use FFmpeg import, go to preference - libraries, to download or locate the FFmpeg libraries.

For software patent reasons, Audacity cannot distribute the plugin on their web site, so they are required to utilize a 3rd party to provide it for them.

Direct link to get the plugin is below:
For this video, we used "FFmpeg-win-2.2.2.exe"
