How to install Rain Gutters - DIY

If you have any questions, just ask; I will do my best to answer. I am installing metal gutters, but vinyl is a fairly similar installation. The gutters I am installing are the same exact ones as you would install on your home.

The things to remember when installing:
1. Have about 1" drop towards the drain per 20FT span
2. Use plenty of sealant.
3. Make sure the downspout kicks away the water at least 2FT from the foundation.
4. The chop saw blade I used to cut the gutters to length was a DeWalt 12-inch, 32-tooth, general cut saw blade. It was what happened to be preinstalled on the saw when I bought it. Be sure to get a similar fine-tooth blade or better so that you are safe when you are cutting. If you are not sure what blade to buy, ask a store worker for advice.
