- Chemistry might seem like the most basic thing, but it’s the fire that keeps any relationship going. Not only do you two still have amazing chemistry almost a year into your relationship, you know he’s thinking about you and has your interests in mind because he was thoughtful enough to buy your favourite food. Buying your favourite foods doesn’t always mean he’s Mr. Right, but in this case, when it’s a kind gesture out of the blue like that, you know those feelings are real. If you’ve only been together for a short while and you’re discovering you really don’t have very much in common, and the spark is gone, it might be a good indication that he’s Mr. Right Now.
- It’s nice that he wants to give you space, however if he makes no effort to get to know your friends, and always avoid social situations then that could be a red flag. Mr. Right, wants to know everything about you, what makes you tick and can’t wait to meet your friends. Not only will Mr. Right make an effort to put his best foot forward to impress your pals, but he’ll invite you to meet his best buddies pretty early in the relationship, too.

- Mr. Right will be comfortable enough with himself and the relationship to allow you space to be yourself. Doesn’t matter if it’s painting or just taking a night off to watch some trash TV, knowing when your partner needs space is a wonderful quality in any committed relationship. After you’ve allowed them to have their space, you’ll find they will be recharged and excited to see you again the next time, instead of uninterested and stressed. Mr. Right Now would be second guessing this time apart and might also be jealous of you being your own person who has interests outside the relationship.
- Mr. Right Now would harbour feelings of jealousy and won’t care if you grow as a person. If he were Mr. Right he would be encouraging you to take the leap and to grow as an individual. He would be excited for the possibilities and be there to support and catch you if things don’t turn out right away. He understands that you have your own dreams and passions and encourages you to chase them!
