One of the many steps you need to complete before you can start winning in your Ecommerce store is to link your Google Merchant Center account to Google Ads. Doing this will allow you to take advantage of Google Ads campaign tools and the power of Merchant Center to improve your brand and boost your web presence.

Once your Merchant Center and Google Ads accounts have been linked, you allow your product data in Merchant Center to be transformed into advertising campaigns in Google Ads. Depending on the type of product data you submit, you can start advertising your products, use dynamic remarketing and many more.

You need to have a Merchant Center account if you want to request to link to Google Ads. If it's your first time to link your account, the link request will appear in on your ""Linked accounts"" page in Google Ads, which you can access from the Settings drop-down menu. Once you have successfully approved the request in your Google Ads account, your product information from Merchant Center is now available in Google Ads for campaign creation.
