Description from the creator

In this Adobe Illustrator tutorial, I'll discuss how to make clipping masks in Illustrator. I start with a simple clipping mask using the rectangle tool and then offset that object to create a more complex clipping mask using a compound path. Masking objects in Illustrator is very easy to do since you can easily create vector shapes in seconds and manipulate them effortlessly.

I then take the items I made in Illustrator and place them into Photoshop for some added bevel effects and color enhancements.
