How do you vectorize fonts the easy way? If you have a graphic design client who's asked you to vectorize their bitmap (jpg, jpeg, bmp, gif, or png) logo, and you aren't quite sure what the font is in the file they sent you, then you're in luck!

Follow my quick font vectorization guide for Adobe Illustrator, and you'll see exactly what steps you need to take to identify the font and possibly download it for free. You could vectorize the font by hand using the pen tool or Adobe Live Trace, but this method of vectorizing fonts is far more effective.
