How to make a Fruit Tart (Easy)

Today I show you how to take some short cuts to make this fruit tart that is easy to put together but so impressive and tasty that you will be making this again and again, so long as strawberries are in season.

For the fruit tart you will need:

1 refrigerated pie dough (unroll and bake type)
1 Box Jello Vanilla cook and serve pudding/pie filling
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 can mandarin orange segments
1/2 cup apricot jam

Later on this summer I will be making a traditional French fruit tart from scratch, so that you can see the difference between this easy tart and the more labor intensive from scratch fruit tart. The from scratch tart is better, but if you are a novice cook, this easy tart is a good place to start.
