Description from the creator

To make your poinsettia turn red again, this Mexican plant also known
as la flor de Nochebuena, you will need to recreate the shortening days of fall.
Here are the steps you need to follow.
Starting in late April, prune your poinsettia, keeping only the best stems.
From mid-September onward, start the darkness treatment. Around 6 p.m., cover your plant with a black sheet or cardboard box to create complete darkness and keep it there until 8 a.m. the next day.
Then bring the plant out of darkness and into the daylight.
Repeat this step every day for 8 to 10 weeks or until the bracts turn red.
Right now, maybe this is what your plant looks like. It's absolutely normal.
Unless it gets an intensive hormonal treatment, your plant will never be as leafy as the ones you can find at the market before Christmas.
