Fill mixing glass with scoop of ice and pour 1/8 oz of dry vermouth and 1 3/4 oz of vodka. Stir with long bar spoon in one direction (some people say 50 stirs but I do about 20). Dump water or soda and ice out of glass and immediately strain your vodka and vermouth into the chilled glass. Garnish with three olives and also serve with a glass of ice water if you wish which is called a water back. Enjoy!
