Description from the creator

Here is the recipe:

1 tablespoon olive oil
3 minced garlic cloves
1 small shallot, minced
½ cup dry white wine (such as Chardonnay)
1 cup heavy cream
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped basil

In a large sauté pan, heat olive oil to medium-low heat. Add garlic and shallot. Cook for about 1 minute. (Be sure not to burn or allow to turn brown.)

Stir in wine and bring the heat up to a rolling simmer. Simmer on medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add in the cream and allow it to simmer on medium heat for about 6 to 8 minutes or until mixture is slightly thickened and ¼ reduced in size.

Reduce heat to low. Add salt, black pepper, butter, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese and simmer for one minute. Stir in basil and remove from heat.

Serve with pasta or spiralized vegetables.
