Description from the creator

Homemade beer battered onion rings are easy to make. You can make delicious onion rings with a simple beer batter at home with this recipe. Beer battered onion rings are very popular and they are served in many different restaurants.

2 cups flour
1 cup corn starch
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/3 ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 salt
1 teaspoon white sugar
2 large white onions, sliced about 3/8 inch slices
12 ounces of beer
vegetable oil for frying

Mix together dry ingredients with a whisk. Heat oil to 350 degrees. Add enough beer to make the batter thin like pancake batter, this should take about 12 ounces of beer. Dip the onion rings into the batter and then fry until they are golden brown. Drain onion rings on a wire rack.
