How to make Krispy Kreme doughnuts/donuts at home | simple recipe | ASMR

Homemade doughnut recipe, better than Krispy Kreme.

I’ve been researching yeast doughnuts for some time now and I’ve finally made a recipe that is just as good or even better than Krispy Kreme. Let’s get one thing clear, Krispy Kreme doughnuts are very hard to replicate because of the many unconventional ingredients used to make their classic doughnuts but I believe my recipe is the closest you can get to these doughnuts...the closet!

Recipe...

Doughnuts:
117ml luke warm water
1/2 tbsp easy/quick yeast
30g caster sugar
1/4 tsp salt
25g veg shortening
25g beaten egg
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
220g plain flour

Glaze:
200g powdered/confectioners sugar
1/2 tbsp cornstarch/cornflour
70ml water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
