How to Make Lemonade with Baking Soda

I saw this recipe in Highlights magazine, and thought it would be a great idea to make this with my son...it was fantastic! He lit up when he saw the bubbles form as he poured in the baking soda. All he talks about now is his fizzy lemonade, and he wants to make it EVERY DAY. Try this out with your kids (or on your own for a fun science experiment). Try out this great recipe if you want to make fizzy lemonade in 30 seconds.

Ingredients:
⅓ cup lemon juice
⅓ cup water
1 tablespoon sugar
¼ teaspoon baking soda

Combine sugar and water.
Mix until the water is clear, and set aside.
Squeeze out lemon juice into another cup.
Pour in baking soda and enjoy the show.
Add your sugar water mixture.
Mix, drink, and enjoy!
