How to make a collar for a MOD in the SCA. Also known as a collar of maintenance, most call it a MOD chain, it is awarded to Masters and Mistresses' of Defense, a peerage order of the SCA, Society of Creative Anachronism. Passed down from the great orders of knighthood the collar represents ones admittance into the SCA Order by the Crown of each Kingdom.
