How to make Spaghetti Carbonara with NO BACON. This is a pork free recipe for this traditional Italian dish.

Instructions

Bring a pot of water to a boil
Add the pasta and cook until al dente
In the last minute of cooking add veg of your choice like peas, squash, etc
Before draining reserve 1 cup of the pasta water
In a large bowl add, 1 egg, cheese, and seasoning of your choice – mix it up
Add the drained pasta to the bowl with the egg and cheese
Add ½ cup of the pasta water, toss well
Add more water if needed to thin out
Season well with salt and pepper
Serve!!!!!!!
