Today on Booze On The Rocks I show you How To Make The Brandy Alexander. This is a riff on the Alexander which was originally made with gin. Its easy as 1,2,3. The brandy brings you in a totally different direction than the gin and really brings everything together. What do you think?

BRANDY ALEXANDER

1 oz/30 ml Creme de Cacao
1.5 oz/45 ml Brandy/Cognac **
1 oz/30 ml Heavy Cream

** Brandy and Cognac are the sames thing, except, Only Brandy from the Cognac region of France can be called Cognac.

METHOD

1. Add all ingredients into Shaker Tin.
2. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
3. Fine strain into coupe.
4. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
