Description from the creator

Do you have multiple Mailchimp Audiences? Do you want to get to a single audience without losing any subscribers? This tutorial show to combine audiences in Mailchimp and, at the same time, tag the contacts so that you can easily identify contacts from the old audiences.

Having a single audience in Mailchimp has various advantages including:
1. Your Mailchimp billing may decrease (you perhaps can use a cheaper Mailchimp plan and you won't be charged for duplicate contacts).
2. You can sent to all contacts or a segment/tag.
3. You won't make the mistake of sending email marketing to unsubscribed contacts (unsubscribes are recorded at the audience level in Mailchimp).

The process followed in the instructions are:
Determine which Audience will be the ‘master’ (2:02)
Tag contacts in the master Audience (2:46)
Export old Audiences (3:56)
Import ‘Unsubscribed’, ‘Cleaned’ and 'Non-subscribed' first then ‘Subscribed’ (6:15)
During import, tag contacts (8:22)
Rename ‘Master’ Audience (9:48)
Archive contacts in old Audiences or delete old Audiences (10:46)
