Handicap Placard

In this video, we will cover Frist Time, Renewals and Replacement Handicap Placards. We will explain what you will need, whom it is for and where you can get a CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY FOR PARKING PLACARD.

Frist Time-

A Frist Time Handicap Placard is for a person with “significant mobility limitation”. You will need a Certificate of Eligibility for Parking Placard Form, and take a picture at MVDNOW. You can get a Certificate of Eligibility for Parking Placard Form online at www.mvdnow.com or at one of our six convenient locations.

Renewals-

Handicap Placards may be permanent or temporary. If the Handicap Placard is Permanent, you will need to fill out sections A, B, and E, on the Certificate of Eligibility for Parking Placard Form. If the Handicap Placard is, Temporary You will need to take the Certificate of Eligibility for Parking Placard Form, to your doctor and have them fill out a new form.

Replacements-

In order to get a Handicap Placard Replacement, You will need to fill out Sections A, B, and E, on the Certificate of Eligibility for Parking Placard Form. As well, as have one of our friendly MVD Now agents take a new picture for the Replacement Placard.
