HI THERE!! OPEN ME!!!!!!

(-:

**Disclaimers:I am not a professional and am not recommending that you try this at home.
I don't own any of this music "Step" -Vampire Weekend.
I got the images from wikihow.com.
Me and my roomies decided to pierce my ear! I now have 9 piercings and 5 of them were done at home. This is my roommates first time piercing cartilage. It didn't hurt anymore than my belly button or nose, it hurt afterward though. I think this is due to how big the needle was 14g.
TIPS:
1. Most professionals pierce cartilage with 16 gauge or even 20 gauge.
2. Your earring gauge shouldn't be larger than the needle size so that it can fit inside the needle.
3. I got all of my supplies off of amazon for CHEAP
4. I've noticed, the harder and longer I hold the clamp, the less it hurts!
5. They say not to use ice to numb it because it makes it harder to pierce
6. Instead of a cork, I've heard you can use an apple wedge or a potato wedge behind your ear
7. Never use a piercing gun. My roommate shattered her cartilage with a piercing gun and it never healed.
