Here's how to polish silver with ketchup. I heard about polishing silver with ketchup and wanted to see if it works. In this video I polish silver jewelry with ketchup and also polish a silver coin with ketchup. Polishing silver jewelry with ketchup works, but it doesn't work as well as actual silver polish. When you polish silver with ketchup, the acid from the tomatoes and vinegar work to remove the brown layer from the silver, but catsup doesn't make the siver as shiny as real silver polish.
