Description from the creator

To learn about cutting a giant oak tree and sealing it, watch the video all the way through. I go into detail about WHY you should seal the tree between the months of February through June and HOW to do that.

This video is specifically helpful for when the tree is large and might be out of reach. I use 10' poles for both the chainsaw and the paint roller, along with a ladder to get as high up as I can. These items are absolutely necessary for cutting a tree that you can't quite reach by hand and the only other way I can image someone pruning the tree is to climb up the tree yourself and cut it there.

In the video, I do not climb any trees to make the cuts and was still able to trim it myself.

I had originally got a quote for $1,200 to trim off several branches, so I just trimmed the branches that I needed right away, and I did it for less than $100. Not bad right?

Thank you for watching this DIY video on cutting a giant oak tree. I hope you enjoyed it and PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBSCRIBE! 😀
