How To Remove Surf Wax From Surfboard | Surf Training Factory

In this video we are showing you how to remove surf wax from a surfboard with hot water and a wax comb only.

Boil some water, and let it cool just a little so that you don't burn yourself too bad. But you still want hot water to be able to remove the surf wax from a surfboard.

1- Take the fins out so you don't break them or you can also just make sure they will not break. Lay your surfboard on a soft surface such as a towel or a yoga mat is fine as well so we can avoid scratches and dings.

2- Pour some hot water on the surf wax which will help you melt off the old surf wax coating. The wax will then melt by itself.

3- Now you can grab your wax comb and scrap off the surf wax in long steady strokes. Try not to put too much pressure on the surfboard, it might damage it.

4- When most of the surf wax is scraped off, pour more hot water and use a cloth to wipe the board clean.
