How To Wax A Surfboard Properly For The First Time

To was a surfboard properly you will need to start at the bottom of the surfboard away from the nose on the side that you put your feet on and NOT where the fins go.

You will begin by making straight diagonal lines towards the nose of the board from left to right or right to left. This does not matter.

On a shortboard you do not go all the way up to the nose with your wax job. But on a longboard you want to wax all the way up to the nose so you can step all the way up.

When you are done with the first diagonal lines, you want to repeat that same motion from right to left covering the other wax you had just put on.

Once you are done with those 2, you want to start back at the stomp pad again and make little circles all the way up to cover the entire wax you had just put on diagonally.
