Step-by-step instructions on how to replace the freezer evaporator fan motor on a Samsung french door refrigerator. The evaporator fan motor circulates the air in the freezer across the cooling coil. If this fan motor fails, it can cause the freezer to stop cooling properly and warm up. The fan motor can also make a noise when it fails or if something rubs on the fan blade like frost or ice. The freezer evaporator fan motor shown in the video is Part # DA31-00146H (PD# PD00006271) but the instructions in the video applies to many different part numbers and models of Samsung refrigerators.

– Philips screwdriver
