Description from the creator

Replacing standard 15Amp breakers with combination AFCI/GFCI breakers takes some time but it is well worth it for the added protection. After installing these breakers I ran into problems with 2 of the 8 breakers that I replaced - they kept tripping when I attempted to energize them. In another video I diagnose where the problems occurred. I also clean up the wiring in this panel in a future video in preparation for installation of a sub-panel load center.

Please exercise caution when working with electricity. If you do not feel comfortable please do not attempt this. Consult with a licensed electrician if you need assistance.

This panel was really crowded with wires. Its fill was high. I corrected this by reducing the length of the neutral and hot wires going to each breaker so that it was at a shorter length and reduce the fill.
