How to Scribe an Architrave to a Wall

As part of the spare room refurb at our cottage I needed to scribe an architrave around the undulating wall that runs parallel to the door lining.

To do this, I took a new architrave, pinned it to the door lining so that it was parallel to the door lining, and then with a piece of wood cut to a certain width (as I show you how to do in the video) I simply trace the contours of the wall onto the new architrave - with a little help from my profile guage.

It's dead easy to do, and now you know how!
