Description from the creator

How to speed up your Mac? If your Mac is running slow, here are a few things to try to speed up your Mac. This works on iMac, iMac Pro, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Mac Mini, and Macbook air.

First, check your activity monitor to see which programs are taking up a large amount of memory or CPU.

Close unused apps by pressing command+option+escape or choose force quit from the apple menu.

Clear out the cache.
You can clear the cache in the library folder on your Mac.
~/library/caches

Remove login items.
On most Macs, some applications start as soon as you start your Mac and may slow down your Mac. You can remove these from the login settings.

Make sure your internal hard drive is not full or almost full.
If it is, you can uninstall unused applications that you've never used or bought an external hard drive and move files to that.
If you see a lot of space being used by the other folder, watch this video.
