In this video, I show you how to tailor a jacket In 10 Minutes You can do this to a jacket, sweatshirt, t-shirt, it’s all done the same way.

Have you ever seen a fire jacket for a low price but wasn’t in your size? That’s what happened with this XL vintage Guess pullover. It was made in ‘91 when everything was made baggy so I had to take a lot of fabric off the waist and sleeves.

You can flip the piece inside out, put it on, pin it to the size you want. CAREFULLY take it off, sew along the pins, cut off the extra fabric, and then zig-zag stitch it closed.

Or you can use your favorite fitting shirt or jacket and use it as a model for the one that’s too big. After you use it as a baseline, sew along the pins or chalk, cut off the extra fabric, and then zig-zag stitch it closed.

I hope this saves you some money! Now when you see that nice shirt or jacket not quite in your size you can still grab it and make it fit you perfectly.
