How To Turn A Picture Into Graffiti Art

In this video, I'll show you a step-by-step process of creating a graffiti art effect with your image. If you follow along, you will have a template at the end, which you can use to create this graffiti effect with any picture in just one click.

Here is the step-by-step process!

1. Create a Photoshop file
2. Unlock the background layer
3. Turn the background layer into a smart object
4. Open your image in a new tab and move it to the smart option tab
5. Use command T to reshape your layer to fit the layer
6. Save and close the smart object
7. Open brick texture and drag layer to the main file
8. Press command T to resize and fit to project
9. Desaturate layer-image-adjustment-desaturate
10. Change the blend mode of the texture layer to hard light
11. Control L to change exposure levels
12. Copy the image layer (command J) and drag it to the top of the layers
13. Go to preferences, plugins, check on show all filter gallery
14. Go to filter-artistic-dry brush-apply
15. On the same layer, Go to filter-artistic-colored pencil
16. Open Graffiti file and bring to photoshop file as new layer on top
17. Select the layer and go to the layer-clipping mask
18. Change the opacity of the graffiti layer to 50%
19. Select original girl layer-go to image-adjustment-vibrance and increase vibrance by +30
20. Save the project file. All done!
