How to use a Wyeast Smack Pack (Big Robb Style... Smack that Beer Yeast!!)

Alright gang... had a brew day yesterday and for my yeast I used for the first time Wyeast. Knew nothing about it when I bought it with the ingredients for yesterdays home brew, and when it showed up I got a good laugh reading how to use the Wyeast.

You literally have to smack the living shit right out of the Wyeast smack pack.

I was concerned the package would explode if I came onto it to hard, but I gave'er a good smack and the Wyeast smack pack did exactly as it was suppose to do.

I pitched the yeast about 5pm yesterday into my home brew beer i brewed, by 10pm when I went to bed there was not any action going on within the fermenter that I could see... however this morning there is lots happening, the beer smells great and I am excited to see how using Wyeast turns out.

Stay tune for the taste test of the beer I used this yeast in and I will give my thoughts on Wyeast at that time.
