Group Facetime on iOS devices, iPhone, iPad now allows you to group video chat/Facetime or audio facetime with up to 32 people.

Make sure you have 12.1 updates or higher to enable this option.

Other people in your contact must be on the iPhone and have 12.1 iOS updates or higher or they will show up as grey when using this option.

You can access this group chat via the Facetime app or simply under group chats under the usual chat app. This video will walk you through both options.
