Learn how to kill a tree stump using motor oil. I like to wear protective gloves when I use motor oil. In the video, I use a log for demonstration purposes. Do exactly the same thing with your problem tree stump, it might work. This is another use for this product, besides making cars work. I don't think the particular brand or viscosity makes much of a difference, use whatever is available. Be sure to smear the motor oil on the inner bark, which is the living part of the tree. Eventually, the stump will die. This is a very cost-effective way to kill a tree stump.
