Description from the creator

Why hello there! Welcome to a short video explaining how furnaces work, and the different types of ores in Minecraft.

Currently there are 6 different types of ores:

• Coal - Very Common - Wooden Pickaxe or above
• Iron - Common - Stone Pickaxe or above
• Gold - Uncommon - Iron Pickaxe or above
• Diamond - Rare - Iron Pickaxe or above
• Redstone - Uncommon - Iron Pickaxe or above
• Lapiz Lazuli - Rare - Stone Pickaxe or above

One thing to note is that a Gold Pickaxe is the same as a Wooden Pickaxe, it can only mine coal ore, however it is faster than the Wooden Pickaxe.
